Welcome
Fresh herbs are at the heart of some of the world’s most vibrant everyday food. Across market tables, mezze spreads, grilled meats, yogurt sauces, chopped salads, flatbreads, and teas, herbs are not just a garnish — they are part of the meal.
Spearmint brings cool brightness to sauces, salads, drinks, and tea. Oregano adds a savoury, aromatic depth that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, vegetables, tomato, olive oil, and lemon. Parsley ties everything together with clean, fresh flavour.
This garden brings together three herbs that are especially useful for bright, lemony, herb-filled meals inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking.
Your Market Mezze Herb Garden arrives fully grown, pre-potted, and ready to harvest. There is no transplanting, no seed starting, and no guesswork.
Just place it somewhere bright, water when needed, and start using fresh herbs in the meals and drinks you already make.

First day care
When your herb garden arrives, remove it from the box as soon as possible and give it a quick check.
Remove any packing material and place the pot on a saucer, tray or waterproof surface. A few bent stems are normal after shipping and usually perk up with light and water.
Touch the top of the soil. If it feels dry, water slowly until the soil is evenly moist and a little water drains from the bottom of the pot.
Let your garden adjust for 48 hours before heavier picking. This gives the plants time to settle into their new home.
Your garden arrives ready to enjoy in its pot. If you choose to upgrade your pot, wait 48 hours until the garden has fully recovered from shipping and is actively growing before repotting.
If your herbs arrive looking a little tired, don’t worry — that can happen after shipping. Give them bright light, water if needed, and they should perk back up within a day.
If anything looks concerning, please reach out to us at support@herbwild.com as soon as possible so we can help. We want you to succeed, and your plants are backed by our 15-day satisfaction guarantee.
Light & water
Place your garden in bright natural light, such as a sunny windowsill, kitchen counter near a window, or covered patio. These herbs grow best with plenty of light and good airflow.
Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. The goal is lightly moist soil, not soggy soil. If the pot feels heavy and the soil is still damp, wait another day.
Turn the pot every few days so all sides receive direct light. This helps the garden grow more evenly and keeps the herbs easier to harvest.
Do not let the pot sit in standing water. Empty the saucer after watering so the roots stay healthy.
Meet your herbs

Smooth, sweet, and refreshing. Spearmint brings cool brightness to tea, yogurt sauces, chopped salads, lamb, grilled meats, lemonade, and summer drinks.
Spearmint grows quickly. Harvest it regularly to keep it full, fresh, and balanced.

Savoury, aromatic, and slightly peppery. Oregano is classic with grilled meats, tomato, olive oil, lemon, roasted vegetables, flatbreads, marinades, and sauces.
Oregano likes bright light and good drainage. Avoid keeping the soil overly wet, and harvest small amounts often to encourage fresh growth.

Clean, green, and bright. Parsley freshens rich dishes and brings balance to salads, sauces, grains, grilled meats, vegetables, soups, and dips.
Keep parsley lightly moist and harvest the outer stems first. The centre of the plant is where new growth begins.
Harvesting
Small, regular harvests are better than one large cut. Use clean scissors or herb snips, take what you need for the meal, and leave plenty of leafy growth behind so the garden can keep producing.
These herbs are especially useful fresh, so harvest small amounts right before cooking, mixing sauces, or serving.
Snip stems just above a pair of leaves. Use the tender top growth for the freshest flavour.
Snip the top few inches of tender stems just above a pair of leaves. For stronger flavour, use the smaller leaves near the tips of the stems.
Cut outer stems near the base of the plant. Leave the smaller centre growth in place so new stems can keep coming.
Easy ways to use them
This garden is built for fresh, bright, herb-filled food. Think lemon, olive oil, yogurt, garlic, grilled meats, chopped salads, flatbreads, and dips.
Spearmint and parsley are especially good in cool yogurt sauces. Oregano adds a savoury note when you want the sauce to taste more herbaceous. Use with grilled meats, vegetables, flatbreads, rice bowls, or salads.
Oregano and parsley work beautifully with grilled foods, while spearmint adds freshness at the end. Add oregano to marinades or sauces, then finish with parsley and spearmint before serving.
Fresh herbs can be part of the salad, not just a garnish. Parsley adds freshness, spearmint adds lift, and oregano adds savoury depth.
Spearmint is excellent in both hot and cold drinks. Gently press the leaves before adding liquid for a stronger mint flavour.
